As an American in spirit (I own the domain, Americanized.org and blog on Americanized.PostHaven.com), I applaude the immigration "reform" initiative by tech leaders such as Mark Cuban. The United States of America is a melting pot of innovators coming from all around the world. Dictatorships have closed borders and not much of immigration. Free countries have open borders and plenty of immigration.

For intellectual arguments, please read Dr. Harry Binswanger's article, Anti-Immigration Rhetoric Frighteningly Reveals Education's Failure, on Forbes.
