A Business Blogging Lesson in Creativity & a "Who-dun-it?": Murder On the Orient Express!
"Yoni, while I agree a blog does need to have some flare to it I think it would really come down to the niche you are writing for and what you are trying to convey. I won't claim to be a great writer as I am new to blogging and writing online having had no formal writing experience in my life. Personally, and I believe many people would agree, when I'm searching for specific business information or news I want to read something that gets to the point and explains it in easy to understand terms without a lot of unrelated information mucking it up.I could care less if I entertain people looking to be entertained,I'm more worried about conveying the message I was aiming to get across so as to not waste like minded people's time. Even though I think this I still believe that I can come across a little more entertaining in my writing while sticking to what is related and not straying too far which your post reminded me of a little further."In Defence of Business Plans
"Anyone who says a business plan is not necessary is crazy, though you can't base a business plan on everything being perfect. A good business plan will be realistic and all of the numbers will be true worst case scenarios. The most important part of a business plan is goals because they provide growth in small increments to meet them. This is what gives your business direction. Can you be successful without a business plan? Well certainly and you could also hit the power ball lottery too,but without one it's less likely that your business will stick to a given path that will lead to prosperity."« previous1 next »

Social Media Myth Busters
"You hit the nail on the head right there globalcopywrite. To add to this it is also important to not spread yourself too thin across many niches as I have learned.Since I have stopped sharing things on Twitter and Facebook on several niches and started sticking to my main niche I am finding improved traffic from those sources.I figured out I was probably looking too spammy before."
