Auto Category Tops Canadian Online Ad Revenues
"I am not familiar with any. I must say, as I worked for almost two decades in public affairs for the CAA (Canadian Automobile Association, affiliated with AAA, AIT and FIA) that the manufacturers in Canada carry themselves as if they were indigenous, stand-alones. But, of course, they are not."6 Reasons It Pays To Use Your Real Identity As a Business Blogger
"Agreed. It is 100% a matter of credibility. If the person isn't real, can anything he says or does be real? I would add that this applies as much to avatars on social websites. Yoni, your avatar shows me that you are you. Mine shows you that I am me. Adam's shows that he is him. It's bot that these are bad things, just that they do not inspire personal credibility."Subscribe
Hidden Camera: What Would You Do?: Store Clerk With Special Needs Being Verbally Abused (Youtube)
"OK, first, the issue here should not be about the disability any more than gay marriage should be about whether the person is gay. It's a matter of how you treat people. I have seen grocery clerks with no visible disability acting plain stupid or lazy. And I have seen clerks being berated sometimes, and I am also slow because my first instinct is to think that the clerk will handle this, it's their job, and I would probably make things worse by interfering. But if it continues, I would butt in, and I have once or twice, with something along the lines of "Come on, give the guy a break". Had I been asked the question directly, as the lady asked in the video, I would have been sorely tempted to answer, "Which people? The rude customers?" But would my way-too-polite-Canadian upbringing allow me to be so rude to her in turn? I am not sure."
