Niche Research for Business Websites Explained
"Hi Heather, Thank you for your comment, and thanks to Mikehartman1 for making available my post on this great community... Im honored to be voted to be here... THANK YOU EVERYONE! Heather, I wrote my response on my blog, but I will quote myself here: "Hi Heather, Great question! I don´t really know the answer, but i´ll let you know my thought. I think that Keyword Research should be done, as a way to know if you will have a good amount and manageable amount of traffic competition, and to HINT a little about your topic, so that you make it easier for the search engine to select. I think that it should be done like if you where cooking, you would use ONLY a pinch of Salt. Tiny bitty pinch of Salt. If you use too much, you mess up your meal. If you use too little, you might still eat it, but the flavour will not appeal to that many people. There are some people that even when the food is cooked, they use salt at the table... That would be too much salt. You can even decide NOT to do it... and the search engine will find you for a LOT of LONG TAIL KEYWORDS, and for me, they are more important. What you definitely must have is GREAT CONTENT! That is a must...and you will do fine. I try to use it, like in a Minimum dose formula... the minimum dose is therapeutic. It makes sense also, for SEO, to use the minimum dose. What I also do is use it on a few posts, and on other posts I just write, but for me, ALWAYS, what is more important is to Write for the PEOPLE, and not the search engines. You want for your website, people that love what you write, that make your clan. I don´t have that much people yet, but I write for THEM. There was a time, not long ago, that only two people read my blog. I wrote for them. Cheers. Hope that I made sense... " Thank you everyone! and I´m honored. "
