"Wow! It was really cool to see that someone had shared my WordPress article on hacking on BizSugar! Many people are STILL USING 'admin' as a login username in WordPress. "I will always user WordPress. There are lots of ways to keep the site safe! The problem is that most people just have no idea how to keep it safe, and if they do know, they are too lazy to do anything until it is too late. The #1 most important thing you can do is to have a secure backup. I have a free backupplugin on my site OR BackupBuddy is the best but it costs money. So many people have invested in creating themes and plugins and tutorials and videos and being WordPress Website Designers (like myself), that even if something better comes along, they will be slow to switch over.
