"Hi Martin, never heard of Ulysses app. However, I just checked their website, it's a standalone desktop app. Grammarly offers some integration with MS-Word on Windows only. Besides that, it is a 100% online app. Grammarly also offers a standalone app. You would need to copy from Ulysses to Grammarly app, do the grammar check and copy the corrected text back to Ulysses ... Not ideal. But this also true for all the other desktop apps. "If your goal is to write a book, then I would say yes, hire an editor to make sure everything is ok before publishing it. If I was in that position, I would make sure to compare pricing & reputation of at least 3-5 editors."Subscribe
