I agree to the idea that sometimes employers do not train their employees that much in handling mad customers. It is a challenge for them to train their people in order to manage this situations.

Listening is part of good communication. Good job for emphasizing it here. We really have to spend to listen because we might not identify the right problem and address the wrong.Empathy is also a must in every situation.
