It's important to keep you employees interested in their job and I think that one of the best ways to do this is be constantly getting them actively engaged in some fun aspect of the business. Or at least something that is beneficial to them as well, not only the company. What would you say is the most important thing to keep in mind when trying to sustain engagement from your employees?

I would probably say that it is to remember that they are people, as well as your employees, and that management should take into account the fact that they might need to be reminded of their long term goals to keep their enthusiasm up.
