Excellent point. Many entrepreneurs fail to understand this and regret the decision to go franchise route afterwards. There is nothing wrong with following rules. In fact franchising can provide excellent opportunity to those who do not have much experience in business.

If you are one of those who likes to experiment and doesn't want to play by rules, you should think about going independent business route. Franchise will only frustrate you.
