More than half the American work force is now comprised of Gen Y, or Millennials as they’re also called. Having this in mind, it makes absolute sense to ensure your marketing plan is targeting this demographic. In saying that, you’d be surprised to find that most small businesses are either not targeting them, or not too sure on how to do so.
First of all, let’s do a bit of a breakdown on who Millennials are:
As of the current year 2015, they’re aged between 18 to 34
They’re also known as Generation Y (or Gen Y as above)
They’re very diverse
They’re very tech savvy, and technologically connected
In a recent study commenced by Manta, they found some very interesting statistics in regards to small businesses, and their marketing relationship with Millennials.
