The recession may have caused Boomers to cut back on spending in some ways, but when it comes to travel, it’s actually helped spur spending. Why? One takeaway from the recession for Boomers is that we’re putting more emphasis on experiences rather than “things”—and we’re willing to pay for great, life-changing experiences like travel.
