How often when you go shopping do you walk away with nothing? Absolutely nothing! I regularly do, I love to window shop and I have a fantastic strategy in place to stop me buying things that I'd like and know I'll probably never ever use...

Thanks Duncan,I remember a salesperson I worked with before and one way that he motivated himself was to stick a picture of a car he really wanted in his sun-visior. He said that every time things weren't going his way, he would look at the pic & feel motivated. When I worked with team, I remember the things that motivated people were entirely unique, I think one challenge for managers is to realise thing & discover what motivates individual team members. Very True - whenever I really want something, I cut waaay back on everything non-essential till I can afford it. If I'm on the fence, there's no impetus.
