I my day (the pleistocene era) it was Easy for teachers to gain respect from kids - they walked back & forth, arms crossed, w/a meter-stick across their shoulder. If a kid looked sideways, she Glared at him (usually that was enough). Now they're lighting off Cherry Bombs & Teech can't do nuttin'!
