From '66-'69 "Cream" was one of my favorite bands - one of the original "power trios", along with the "Jimi Hendrix Experience". Cream did psychedelic blues, and featured 3 of the best instrumentalists in their day: Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, and Ginger Baker. As a "SuperGroup" their prodigious abilities "Rose to the Top" - hence the moniker "Cream".
