Blogging is an art…..something that requires practice and commitment, much like any skill you want to master.

Me, I’m just a babe in the woods but I thought I’d share with you (in my fledgling fashion) a few tips for getting the groundwork right, before you start to worry about all the funky stuff like traffic & monetization.

Jackie,

Great post that I found to be helpful and honest. I especially like the word |bullshit| that you used. I feel that when bloggers are able to curse in public (at least in their blog) it means they are becoming comfortable. Very nice job.

My ethos has always been - be yourself warts and all!

I write how I speak and occasionally the odd colourful phrase or two pops in...mmm maybe more than occasionally..now I think about it, but thats who I am.
