Customers already assume brands are fallible. Admitting weakness is a tangible demonstration of honesty and, therefore, makes your other claims more believable.

Gee: Philosophical speaking, I am striving for perfection. It is an ideal for me. But I am transparent and open with my mistakes and how I am falling forward through my business journey. Recently I got a (re)view on my first book, that hurt my feelings at first, but then I thought I will use this private feedback as trigger for a new podcast, explaining my take on the self-publishing process, book writing, and how to create a forum for my topic of interest (passion). I will link to your blog post when I launch the pilot episode of my new podcast.

Best Premises,

Martin

Good for you, Martin! Striving for perfection is an admirable quality, but not if it's so acute that it prevents output. I know - because that used to be me :)

Failure is human and a component part of building experience.

We all fail at something at some point. The difference between a good business and a poor one is how they choose to manage and address the failure.

Thanks for the comment!
