There’s a fatal flaw in the way we apply advice about blogging.

It’s gotten to a point where the lines are blurred.

We are applying advice, it’s not working and we’re giving up.

Or in some rare cases we apply advice that does more harm than good.

But the truth is that it doesn’t have to be that way.

There is an approach we can take to help us focus our efforts and make the advice we’re given work for us. In this post I’ll show you how.

Adam: That is what I promote too, an ongoing process. I look forward talking with you soon again about blogging advice on my podcast show. Have you listened to my interviews with Gary Shouldis and Dan Swords?

Awesome stuff. Same here. Not yet, putting a lot of extra time into some behind the scenes stuff for Blogging Wizard. The downside has been hardly any free time to checkout blogs/podcasts. Should all pay off soon though :)

Adam: Great advice. Which test has been the most successful for your blogging?

I wouldn't say there's a single test. By 'always be testing', it goes beyond running tests (e.g. split tests) towards being a mindset.

Adam: The first thing to ask you why you should blog at all, and then you could start planning your content creation. At the same time, I will the give the advice: "Just Do It" and start... ;)

Good point, it's too easy to keep over thinking things but just going for it works.
