Business Pundit has this post originally reported by The Dayton Business Journal about an Ohio pizza chain with the great small business marketing idea of offering 1960's era prices to celebrate its 44th anniversary. The chain expected to sell 20,000 pizzas during the promotion which apparently lasted just one day, Aug. 10. I don't know how much profit was made on those pies ranging in price from 80 cents for a small cheese pizza to $2.50 for a large deluxe but talk about spreading the word about your product! What creative marketing ideas can you think of to put your small business firmly on the map?
