I’ve just seen a new study that says that customers need to come back to your website seven times before they will be willing to place a second order. Seven times, holy cow! But the good news is that returning customers really are more likely to buy than first time customers.

It's tricky, Diana - the potential customer may also be repulsed by the "nudges" to get them to buy (I know I resent them like poison).
