You may have heard recently of the news that Facebook has dropped its organic reach for business pages to Falling organic reach from Facebook. What marketers need to knowaround about 2%.

This, of course, has caused outrage amongst marketers and other businesses across the board. The major complaint being, “How dare that free platform that I’ve been using to make money for my business for so long now, make me pay to reach my audience, that I spent absolutely no money acquiring.”

Now you may think that we are a little late jumping on the bandwagon for blogs written about the decline in organic reach but this article isn’t really about that. What we are mainly concerned with is the repercussions that this has for the larger online community and digital marketing in general.
