In the interview, Jim made some points about designers. His advice? Don’t hire one. His contention is that website work based on function. If a giant, ugly, button is s to communicate an idea, then that is what is needed. The assumption is that a designer wouldn’t allow such a monstrosity to take place. Fair enough, because it is unfortunately true.
