Just because a few businesses spend (waste!) money on upscale getaways after getting loans from the government doesn't mean that the feds should limit the ability to hold conferences. Face-to-face meetings with peers and/or clients is vital + one in six jobs is related to the meeting/hospitality world. As a speaker, I know, first-hand how many maids, cooks and other lower-wage workers are already in fear of being fired with the cut-backs in travel and meetings.
Meetings Mean Business - and Jobs - So Don't Let Gov. Limit Them
