Google search, it’s all there for me to see

As the majority of the worlds population uses Google to access information, have we become too accepting of what we find? Is Google making it so easy to find information that we no longer need to think? Perhaps not a "business blog" post today - but maybe we are too accepting in business as well?

In high school, calculators had just been invented. They were expensive, so only 5 kids had them. They weren't allowed to use them in school (all they did was add, subtract, multiply, and divide). In those dinosaur days we had slide rules & logarithm books, had to memorize formulae, and had to work out the problems on paper. This proved we actually COULD think our way out of a paper bag. It wasn't long till it was all on calculators - even the formulae on scientific calculators. Why don't kids today have to suffer through actually learning physics the way us dinosaurs did??
