Yahoo has expressed interest to purchase the blogging platform Tumblr at a cost of $1B. This is after Yahoo announced on integrating tweets to its news feed because of their importance in transferring information.

My question is, what's next for Yahoo?

I also don't understand, Tumblr isn't really making much, I believe...why buy it out?
