"I decided to give the Promoted Post a go yesterday. my business page has around 680 fans - but my posts only ever reach around half of that (at most). And so I paid £10 to reach between 400 and 750 (fans only, not their friends).
I paid for and posted the update at around 7pm last night. It's now 12 hours later and the promoted post has only reached 282 of my fans (compared to the previous, unpaid for post) which reached 223.
Can anyone explain why the reach was so poor, when I paid to guarantee a much higher reach - i.e the whole point of Promoted Posts."
