Hi Adrian,

These are some great tips and I appreciate you sharing them. I can't stand getting a hypey email in my inbox. Like you said, even if the headline is hypey, I'll delete right off the bat.

I also liked what you mentioned about getting on the providers email list first to check out the content. This is a great idea and I hadn't thought of doing that before, specifically for the purpose of deciding to use them as a provider or not. Thanks for this tip.

I'm so glad to have you as apart of the BizSugar community and thanks for sharing this post with us.

Thank you! As mentioned on Twitter, I'm here because of your blog posts :)

As for checking the content published in a newsletter before placing any order, that is a must. I know newsletter publishers who claim 100K+ subscribers or even more and charge the advertisers accordingly. But if you subscribe to their "newsletters" then you're 100% sure that the figures are very far from real figures. Here is an example of such "newsletter": title+link to someone else's article and then... ads, ads, ads, ads. When you see that... you know that such newsletter CANNOT have 300K readers. People are still placing orders, unfortunately they don't check anything... not even the negative reviews posted online by other advertisers who were already scammed...

That's why I'm trying to educate advertisers. The biggest problem is that many people don't have time to read articles. They just "do it" as their guru/upline told them; well...

Adrian
