While it’s hard to know if a written testimonial is real, video makes it obvious. People are hard-wired to spot lies and bad acting. And the opposite is true as well.

What's your personal experience with the effectiveness of video testimonials? I'm guessing video from the people behind a brand is also getting progressively more important too. Now that the capabilities to use it are so available, who wouldn't want to get a better feel for who thy are doing business with -- especially if they rarely or never meet you face to face?
