Basically triggers are “event” based and autoresponders are “time” based. To better understand the difference between auto responders and triggers let me describe what autoresponders do. While conventional automated emails (autoresponders) adhere to newsletter sign-ups and orders, trigger sends emails for other activities such as particular search patterns, special occasions like customer birthday, vacations, or related products.
