A very small part of building an online business (and in fact a business in general) is putting up a Website or opening a shop or hanging a sign out front. You must also build a community if you want your business to survive. As Annie Pilon, owner and operator of website Wattlebird, notes, it's also one of the coolest parts of creating a website. And let's face if, it's one of the cool things about being a small business owner too. Creating that community can be harder than it looks. But sometimes the first step is deceptively easy. Just ask.

Just saw your post in the BizSugar community and wanted to reach out and say hello. You're right. Community is one of the coolest parts of having a website. It's a pretty cool part of running a business too. Thanks for the great post, however short. I think the message is clear. Reach out and connect!
