With Yahoo merging with the Microsoft search platform, It probably didn’t come as a huge surprise when Yahoo broke the news that Yahoo! Site Explorer was to shut down.
As of 21 November 2011, Yahoo! Site Explorer is no more. This means webmasters and SEOs will not have what has been the go-to place for free competitive link data since it began in 2005.
