Twitter has always been a powerful news source online and this integration with Google Search will give them a further reach into the general public's consciousness. i know you wrote to "tweet often," but how many posts in a day would you say is necessary for a strong Twitter presence?
Thanks,

Thanks for the kind words!
In terms of tweeting often, it really depends on your followers and when they are online. Generally, we recommend tweeting at least 5 times a day (every weekday) to maintain a good presence, but it may be that you need to tweet even more regularly than that, especially if you are new to Twitter and looking to build up a following.
A couple of free tools that we would recommend are Followerwonk and Tweroid. Each of these help you find out when your followers are online and establish the best times to tweet. Better still, each pairs with another of our favourite tools, Buffer, so that you can schedule tweets to be published throughout the day.
Sorry we haven't really given you a definitive answer, but we hope this helps!
Thanks,
Pea Soup Digital.

The partnership is unlikely make it any easier to find an older tweet. In our testing of the feature, only the five most recent tweets are displayed. Other tweets from an account may also be displayed in search results, but their is no guarantee of a specific tweet being displayed on the first page. This focus of this partnership is providing timely information - something that Twitter is brilliant at.
