Heather: If you look at the British and Swedish antique TV shows, it looks that you have several of categories of collectibles that are popular, e.g., handicrafts in silver, Chinese porcelain, furniture, toys from Germany, paintings (if you could say who has painted it - see the British TV series, Art Detectives), etc.

Personally, I have a small plate from the East Indiaman Gotheborg ship that went down outside the Gothenburg harbor in 1745. My father gave it to me as gift several years ago. The so called provenience is fascinating! A porcelain plate from China from 1745! I have had tea from the same ship. It tasted... ;)

My long-range plan is to continue to collect certified and graded silver and gold coins through my own online store, and getting coins from antique shops and online auctions.

Adam: I could open the shop in the end of September, when the company launched this new market (Sweden). The shop is now open to the public everywhere. The parent company, ISN Modern Coins, is taking care of the inventory. The bullion products are priced according to the daily silver price. Adam: It is interesting to see that you have listed collectibles as one of the best business to start in 2014. I have started my own online coin shop with certified collectible silver and gold coins! :) Collectibles are so popular here in Europe at the moment that you have special TV programs on antiques and other stuff that you could collect over time.

Yes, i believe in the future of collectibles.

We have these programs here in the US too. How are you doing with your on-line coin shop ?

How do you manage your inventory with the fluctuating gold price?
