I look to great musicians like Neil Young for lessons to tell a good story. In his classic "Harvest Moon" the lyrics begin with him singing, "Come a little bit closer, here what I have to say."
It's like blogging. Please listen to the story I have to tell. And sell.

Yes, I really believe that storytelling turns marketing into more of an art form and takes the shrillness out of promoting oneself.
