The financial assumptions are an opportunity for the entrepreneur to demonstrate a deep understanding of their target market and a solid business acumen. It also gives the entrepreneur an opportunity to discuss risks (downside) and opportunities (upside), like a SWOT analysis. A good job here could help keep the deal moving forward.
