In "Mission: Impossible" (Color '66-'73), team leader Jim Phelps (actor Peter Graves) purposely targeted weak spots - especially if the leader had a vulnerability (like believing in flying saucers, or tarot cards - silly, I know, but it was good entertainment). He set up his plans like a chess game (which he was sometimes shown sitting next to, while butting-out a cigarette completing his plans - a southpaw). He depended on the bad guys reacting in the "only logical way possible", then let them believe their reactions were of their own making - the whole time they're being lead around by the nose (which I find particularly funny). But if people leave their passwords on sticky-notes - even the Hamburglar could pull off a major job!
