If you operate an eCommerce business you may see considerable increases in sales over the next several weeks as the holiday shopping season commences. In fact, projections suggest eCommerce sites may see an incredible 14 percent rise in the coming weeks as shoppers move online to meet their holiday buying needs. Experts suggest the projected increase means eCommerce businesses may earn an estimated $42 billion over the 2012 holiday season. If you have an eCommerce business, what are you doing to make sure you get your share of this massive market? If your business hasn't yet moved online or hasn't fully developed its eCommerce potential, what are your plans to grab a larger part of this lucrative market in the future?

I don't think the continued increase in eCommerce spending surprises anyone. What's important to consider is how many businesses, from bloggers with eCommerce affiliate links to operators of full-fledged online stores, can get a piece of this pie. Writers of print on demand or ebooks and designers of online merchandise for sites like CafePress and Zazzle should consider it too. The time has come to make the most of the online buying trend.
