Just back from a few days away (I do love leading by example!) and discovering the sugar (!) and comments, thank you; will reply to each comment!

Great advice Frederique. Taking time out is something that us entrepreneurs feel guilty about and we really shouldn't. I know that in order for me to stay top of my game and be creative, that I need to take a break. Sometimes its a cup of tea and a kit-kat; other times it's a run.

But great advice.

Take care,

Denise

Hi Denise,

Thanks for your comment.

Glad you've enjoyed the advice. You bring such a great point by mentioning the word "guilt"; I see it almost all the time, and it is entirely possible to go from guilt-full to guilt-free, and even more than that, to then realise how productive, creative and necessary the time out are; in my experience, once you get it started, it is a behaviour that becomes very easy to adopt, again, again and again ;-)

Have a fantastic week!

Frederique,

Taking a break is so important! This is something especially solopreneurs sometimes mistakenly believe they don't have time to do. But just the opposite is true. Take a break occasionally or burn out. It's that simple!

Hi Heather,

Thanks for your comment.

Yes, it is one of those myths, and I was happy to write about it to shift a few minds, and from the feedback so far, I know it has worked! It is critical, and a real key to reaching all of our BIG goals.

Have a fantastic week!

I love this post Frederique. I now ensure I have a least a Sunday with no work - maybe I write on a Saturday but that is something I find fulfilling. Time out is a must - for rest, relaxation and rejuvenation too. Thanks for sharing on Bizsugar.com

Hi Sian,

Thanks for your comment.

Delighted you loved the post! And, are applying its teaching; as I wrote, sometimes, we need to learn, and by starting gradually it helps the curve!

Have a superb week (and a great RRR Sunday)!

Frederique
