Interesting headline. Some of your points have strong merit. I would expect that there is more to this. I've always held that many can be trained as managers, and certain types of people make better managers. Learning how to work with others, communicate effectively, and implementing the business plan are central to success. Your 6th point needs more elaboration - perhaps in another post?
