You’ve probably heard it before; if you want to be more productive with your time, you need to get up earlier, and make the most use of your day from the get go. However if you’re somewhat like me, and enjoy your sleep, this is a lot easier said than done.
The truth is however that this advice is definitely correct. I used to love my sleep in’s, but soon learnt that finally getting out of bed lethargic and tired later, losing potential time I could have already used on starting on some of the bigger things needing attention that day, was holding me back from my true potential. An hour or two sleeping in during the morning may not seem like a big issue, but once you calculate over a week and than month how much time is potentially wasted sleeping in and basically procrastinating, you soon realize that you’re allowing yourself to become your own worst enemy.
