If you’re looking for any sort of career advice, it’s likely you’ve heard a certain suggestion before: Pursue your passion! In this economy, you’ll barely make any money no matter what you do, so why not do something you’re passionate about?

It sounds like a dream. You could move to a country with a low cost of living, then if your passion earns only a couple of dollars a day, you’d still be fine. You just need to find a thousand people passionate about the same things and convince them to give you a hundred dollars a year!

Thursday: On one of my first blogs, I have the following slogan / motto: reason - purpose - self-esteem.

I agree with your statement: "Besides following your passion, you also need to define your purpose."

I am striving for happiness by achieving my values in life, e.g., hobbies, spreading better ideas on new media and business philosophy. I want to eat my own dog (cat in my case! ;)) food and start different projects and then use social media activities in order to promote my new products and services. The outcome could be interesting business cases that I could use in my content creating, talks on social media, courses in new media, etc.
