So sad, but its really true Yoni. It's slippery when its going down. Everyone must take note of that always.

I really like your post Yoni.Great comparison, I would agree why their are more people who fail during descent than that of ascending.Great job!

Hi Yoni,

Your post also rminds me of one story I think about Everest. Apparently one climber got into trouble and others passed him by and did not render help. While we need to stay up to date with the tools, it is important to not forget why we use them.

Hope you are gettin better.

Susan,

It's sad but from what I've read there is a huge debate on the ethical behavior of those climbing Everest. It seems that many who were in trouble were left to fend for themselves and die. Seems like reaching the peak was a bigger goal than rescuing fellow human beings!

As a youngster I heard the famous quote of the then head of GM (which earned more than most Countries at the time) - "What's good for GM, is good for the country!" I was sad that he was likely gone by September 2008, when his "offspring" were begging the gubmen for $$. In a news bit, when asked what went wrong, I heard the then CEO say: "We didn't make any mistakes - it was the economy."

Duncan,

The higher the heights...the bigger the fall...and the bigger the bailout!

Ofira and Heidi,

Thanks for the welcome back! I will be blogging once a week perhaps for the time being. I will actually be off of work until January at the earliest as I have some obstacles to overcome. Penning an occasional blog however is proving to be quite therapeutic!

Thanks,

Yoni

Great job Yoni! I would have assumed that going up is the most dangerous part. Great lessons for business and hopefully you are feeling better?

Just a small and cordial reminder aimed specifically at my regular readers from JobShuk:

In an effort to balance things out just a bit, I again ask that you kindly refrain from voting here en-masse. I appreciate your enthusiasm and willingness to show your support, however, support in the form of votes can oftentimes lead to negativity. Thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed, however, no need to press the button.

Yoni
