Man, I just feel bad for those people.

I saw a CRAZY show on Discover Channel the other day. This tribe in Papua new Guinea had never seen any technology until WWII when cargo planes started flying over the jungle. They believed they were gods. Researchers found huge model planes made of branches and hay decades later, pleas to the gods to come back...which they didn't do after the war ended. Many of the people sunki into depression and killed themselves believing they had angered the airplane gods.

Belief systems are fragile.

I dunno, Corey...some of the poor turkeys who believed this guy are now destitute - in reality, not just in their leader's fantasy world. I sense that a similar post for the victims of the earth quake in Japan might be derided. Shaky ground.
