Wonderful question. My daughter wants to go to one of the two arts high schools in the big city - oh, groan, logistics! One of several positive points about one of the schools is that they offer small business courses. I reason that if my daughter does not end up performing for a living, there is a good chance she could become a trainer or administrator (dance school, theatre, etc.) Would it not be great if she had a rudimentary sense of business from the get-go?
