Hi,

Thanks for commenting on my Pinterest article. I have a guide for how to use Pinterest in draft form. I'm planning to publish late this month.

Janice: I have to look into the steps to turn my personal Pinterest page into a business version. I am mostly pinning images from other sites. So, how do you get traffic to your own site? I am thinking of trying to get more attention to the crowdfunding campaign for my first forthcoming book on tea. Could I use Pinterest for this project?

Hi Janice,

Thanks for participating in the BizSugar community. Do you think Pinterest is more beneficial for some websites than for others.

Hi Heather,

Nice to see you. Thank you for welcoming me and commenting on my article.

My answer, unfortunately, is yes. There is not equity. Do It Yourself (DIY) crafts bloggers and recipe bloggers get far more traffic to their blogs from Pinterest. However, none of the experts I interviewed fell into those niches, and they all recommend bloggers use Pinterest. They all blog about blogging and social media. Therefore, people in our niche still have the potential to get massive traffic even if it isn't as much as DIY bloggers.
