Great article, Chad. It's important to take out the necessary time to really plan out a social media campaign so you can get the best results. What would you say is the number one thing that someone new to social media should keep in mind?

For me, personally the number one thing I believe that not just those new to social media but everyone needs to keep in mind is having and setting measurable goals. Many times people will say that social media (or another type of marketing) isn't working for them yet they have no goals to measure success against. Without the goals in place how do you even know what you are working towards?
