I do blame social media for the decrease in productivity. I don't really spend a lot of my time on social media. It's mainly my email and YouTube that's my productivity killer.

I agree with you Heather, its totally impractical to fully eliminate social media in the workplaces but, the use of it can somehow be restricted so as to enable the workers to focus more on their duties. Thanks

Nowadays completely eliminating social media and other Internet access in the workplace is just plain impractical. But, yes, I'd agree policies are always a good idea. Thanks for sharing with the BizSugar community.

Heather - Agree with you. It's not practical or possible to limit the use of social media, however as an employer you have to set the ground rules on what is and is not allowed.
