My Love/Hate Affair with Twitter

Twitter was my first love with social media. I signed up back in 2009 as I was curious about this new social media networking website. Back then I was in the newspaper industry working in advertising sales.

A few years later we had an earthquake while I was at work. (This was highly unusual for the East Coast.) We didn’t know it for sure being on the 2nd floor where the advertising department was.

Hi Martin, Yes, I am on Parler too :) I just got verified the night Twitter was down. I'd like to see more folks over there. And I wonder how it will be after the election - if as active. Are you on there too?

Lisa: I am on Parler (Lyceum). I am not active there yet, but I know an individual who is working with Policy there. Her name is Amy Peikoff.

Lisa: I have mixed feelings about Twitter too. But I think that I always will stick with it. Talking about "censorship," have you checked out alternative platform, e.g., Parler?
