Your sense of irony is quite appreciated - and funny!
If IT had taken over Social Media at the hospital where I used to work, they would've come up with an interface only a robot would associate with.

I have to admit my first reaction to the Computerworld article was, What on earth does IT know about social media? Then I got thinking about it and it seems like a lot of businesses are confused, too. I can't tell you the number of inexperienced, unqualified people run social media accounts. The conferences are full of kids that love Facebook but have no idea about brand, marketing or anything else for that matter. It's frightening.
