WordPress still dominates the blogging world

According to Pingdom, a leading website monitoring service, WordPress is used by 52% of the most prominent blogs in the world in 2013. The number represents an increase in four percentage points from last year.

I've been using WordPress on a self hosted server now for two years, moving over from Blogger. I agree with Cendrinemedia, it is challenging at first to get to know your way around it. However, once you spent some time learning how to work the Admin area, I doubt if there is another blogging platform that allows you so much freedom and development capabilities, without any knowledge of HTML or CSS coding knowledge. It is really so much more than just a blogging platform and I am a very loyal user.

Wordpress will definitely be still the number 1 blogging platform because of its ease. People don't like to sweat with technical stuff and wordpress makes it easy for the first time blogger to blog.

I disagree. WordPress is not that easy to figure out for first-time users. It actually takes people a long time to understand all the benefits.
