Yeah, sure it’s easy, and of course, that title is a little tongue in cheek. It takes a lot of hard work to get a business off the ground. But, it’s worth every hour I’ve spent getting to where I am now.

When I decided to start my consulting business, I tried hard to find a good startup guide. I couldn’t find any that had all the steps. So, I decided to write one. So far, it’s mostly just the bare-bones outline (which is long enough as it is) you see in this article.

@ Tcambia: Thank you for the compliment! It IS a big decision to take a hobby and transfer it into a business. The very thing you love to do and enjoy, is now going to be a business... that means WORK! I can say that in helping aspiring entrepreneurs, that you are already ahead of the game! You already know the Who, What, Where, When and How of your hobby. You are around those who enjoy the same hobby as you do, now you have a network. You know where to go for resources for your hobby, now you have inventory (service related materials), and you know you are already in a community that supports the hobby your have been enjoying, because the resources have been made available to you for you to enjoy. You Know that there will be an audience. So the questions is not Why... Why Not?! I am very interested to know if you do transition. You will find enjoying what you already do, is the number ONE factor in being success in your own business! Success To You!

Thanks a lot for this 15 Step Plan Raquel! I have always wanted to create my own business out of my hobby but I'm still thinking about it though.
